[testimonial]The Things that Matter in Business Program is really giving us the momentum we need to help us grow and develop RoadTek… It’s providing skilling opportunities for people, they’re using them and the outcomes from projects people have been working on has exceeded my expectations.[client_name]Ray Breust, Former General Manager, RoadTek, Main Roads, Qld[/client_name][/testimonial]
[testimonial]We’ve engaged Chris and Bernadette on a number of occasions to work with our strategic teams as we review our operations and look at direction setting going forward. They have excellent skills in facilitating the exchanges we need to have and certainly keep us focused and engaged as an organisation. They have the ability to analyse complex data sets and at the same time challenge us to develop elegant solutions to our problems. They also bring a wealth of information and understanding about working in diverse organisations to the table.[client_name]Former Director General Qld Public Sector[/client_name][/testimonial]
[testimonial]Chris is innately insightful when working with individuals and groups, especially senior level groups. He is an excellent coach and mentor; having first hand experience when he mentored me many years ago. His coaching and facilitation skills are simply best practice. I have also worked with Chris in delivering leadership and change programs in some of the most complex, troublesome environments with huge success for which I am forever grateful. Chris’s early background in acting (not to mention the Masters in Psychology) enables him to engage groups in a fun and yet intellectually stimulating way[client_name]Barry Brewster, Principal & Director (Business Advisory) Evans & Peck[/client_name][/testimonial]
[testimonial]For me the leadership course gave me insight into the way I approach developing communication networks and alerted me to my strengths and abilities and weaknesses. For example, the process and structure (the above the green line stuff) I am able to do quite well, I can picture it, write it up in the speak of the day. What I am not good at is following through, I do pick up that people may not be comfortable, or understand, etc, what I did not do is follow through with those who seemed to be struggling. Part of that was personal and part was cultural. It was their job to catch up, not my job to carry them. What I realized through the readings and through the workshops was that for my strategy to work I would have to change some of my attitudes, I had to make myself not assume others were on board, and follow up with social activities to cement relationships. I suppose the personal stuff comes from having a good cognitive appreciation for communication and a poor appreciation for the human.[client_name]Cath Leung, Regional Training and Employment Officer, Department of Employment and Training[/client_name][/testimonial]
[testimonial]We’ve done senior executive development programs previously, but working with Chris and his team is the first time we’ve had consultants who really want to work with us and not keep us at arms length. They’ve got to know our business and really do develop relationships with our people at all levels. The trust is there, their skills are excellent and we’re getting great results. We don’t always agree, but I’ve learned a lot from having my assumptions challenged, and this is the sort of environment we need to create[client_name]Ian Birch, Former General Manager, Coates Hire Northern Region Australia.[/client_name][/testimonial]
[testimonial]Extremely interesting and valuable material and processes. Most useful and practical course I have attended. I feel much more connected and motivated than I have for some time. I would like to send all my staff to this program. This has been a very worthwhile investment of time and has really made a difference for me.[client_name]Feedback from DPI&F Leading Strategic Change workshop Bernadette Rutyna facilitated in Feb 2009.[/client_name][/testimonial]
[testimonial]I now know how to manage conflict more effectively as I am aware of my own issues and can change my attitude. People management has always been a challenge but I can give feedback on performance and it works![client_name]Feedback from Dept of Natural Resources Mines and Water, Advanced Leadership workshop, Bernadette Rutyna facilitated in March 2009.[/client_name][/testimonial]
[testimonial]When I started this program I was really skeptical and also very disillusioned with my work. I was going to resign and had little hope that this development would be of use. However it has changed my life!! I am more motivated, I am clearer with what is expected of me and my team and I support and listen to them in ways that I had not thought possible. We are achieving in very difficult times and I feel great about that[client_name]Feedback from a senior manager after completing the Leading Educational Change in TAFE program 2008.
